Community of Hope Sunday, March 31
Community of Hope Sunday, March 31 after the 10:15 service
What do you do with your faith? Every one of us is a part of what God is doing here and around the world. Or at least we are called to be.
What are you doing to bring God’s love to the world?
On Sunday, March 31 after the 10:15 service, Erin Oney is going to be presenting in Rectors Hall on Community of Hope, a Benedictine model of doing pastoral care.
When someone in our parish goes into the hospital or needs a visit, we offer direct care, but the reality is that as we grow, we need more coverage than priests can offer.
We have had faithful care of long-term members by a group of women who have been awesome. They have been the front line of care for us for years. But it is time for us to grow into a fuller ministry.
With Community of Hope, you will be trained to respond to the call for care, deepen your faith life so that you have resources to offer others, and you will be surrounded by a community of people in it with you.
Erin has been a part of the Community of Hope circle at All Saints for years. You will hear some of her story and how you can be apart of the healing of the world through Community of Hope here at CCA.
