Outreach Opportunities at Christ Church of the Ascension

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.”
-Luther Burbank

Being part of the CCA Flower Guild is such a fun and pleasurable way to serve God in our church!  Our main objective is to bring God’s natural beauty to the altar in a special way of enhancing our worship services.  Besides arranging flowers for our regular Sunday services, the Flower Guild also embellishes the church for memorial services, weddings, Easter, Christmas and other special events.

Our floral ministry is only possible because of the generosity of our parishioners.  Floral contributions are recognized in the bulletins throughout the year for various occasions:

  • Thanksgiving for God’s many blessings
  • To honor a special day…birthday, wedding or anniversary
  • In memory of a loved one

Joyfully serving,
Barbie Moody
Flower Guild Coordinator
