Fellowship at Christ Church of the Ascension
Welcome to the Ascension Book and Gift Shop. We are proud to be a part of Christ Church for the past 20 years, sending all of our profits to Mission Outreach.
The shop will be open each Sunday in June and July after the 9:00 a.m. worship service. Stop in and cool off whenever you need a special card or gift, and bring your visitors by to pick up a lovely souvenir!
If you have questions or would like to shop by appointment, please call the church office (602-840-8219).
Don’t forget, we don’t charge sales tax and proceeds benefit outreach!
The shop offers an array of tooled leather bible covers in several colors, matching bookmarks tooled with designs and scripture verses, and pocket journals that are a “just-right” size for purses and briefcases. If giving one as a gift, pair it with a wooden pen in a matching hinged case, also inscribed with a scripture verse. So many thoughtful and unique items to choose from – come in and see us today!
The shop is open Sundays after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. worship services. If you have questions or would like to shop by appointment, please call the church office (602-840-8210). We don’t charge sales tax and proceeds benefit outreach.
We are blessed to display a beautiful gallery of gifts for all occasions; books, bibles, cards, and a diverse showing of Armando Bustamante’s personal artwork.
Come by and visit us…one of our wonderful shop volunteers would be happy to help you pick out the perfect gift or book. We are open Sundays after the 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. services and after the 6 p.m. service on the first Sunday of the month. Remember, we charge no sales tax!

2nd Monday of the Month (September thru June)
The Club reads one book each month chosen from a wide range of contemporary literature and non-fiction. We generally pick a classic to read over the summer. Discussions are lively and always help us to broaden our understanding of the books. If you like reading books, please join our group. It's a great way to get to know other readers. Everyone is welcome.
Christ Church Book Club meets the second Monday of the month at 2:00 pm in the church conference room. It does not meet in July and August. Please check the bulletin for any changes.

In Spring of 2014 a new chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King was founded at Christ Church of the Ascension.
The Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We are lay and ordained women who have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are women who, in the midst of our daily lives, find community and spiritual support in local chapters of three or more women. Chapters are formed in churches (and church-related institutions) and are under the oversight of their own clergy.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King® is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.
