Solis Camerata (Choir of the Sun) is a company of singers, instrumentalists, scholars, dancers, thespians and historians dedicated to the study and performance of ancient music. This ensemble explores many facets of music composed over the last 1,000 years, such as ritualistic chant, ethereal folk melodies, earthy pagan incantations, angelic church motets and renaissance courtly dance music. In performance, the music is shared in visual and aural realms, to evoke a timeless and mystical experience.

The Second Sunday Concert Series is a partnership between Christ Church of the Ascension and the Arizona State University Herberger Institute School of Music, presenting high quality chamber music by graduate student artists in a professional setting. Join us after the concert for a complimentary reception where you can meet and greet the performing artists.
